Plasmolifting of the face

Out of all the many rejuvenating procedures, plasma therapy stands out due to the breadth of its application - it is actively used in both traditional medicine and cosmetology. Initially, transfusion of blood components to the patient was carried out in severe cases of anemia - in case of blood loss and toxic conditions. Plasmolifting of the face is the introduction of one’s own plasma by subcutaneous injection to areas that require correction.
Indications for facial plasmolifting
The procedure for injecting plasma with platelets is actively recommended by cosmetologists for the following problems:
- wrinkles that appear as a result of age-related changes and facial mobility;
- acne, acne and post-acne;
- pigment spots caused by aging or exposure to ultraviolet radiation;
- unhealthy skin tone;
- presence of shallow scars;
- increased sensitivity of the skin as a result of laser resurfacing, peeling and other interventions that violate the integrity of the skin;
- general aging of the skin, the consequences of stress and poor lifestyle.
Contraindications
The plasma injection procedure has its contraindications. The procedure cannot be carried out in the following cases:
- in the presence of severe chronic diseases in which the administration of blood products can aggravate the course of the disease (oncological diseases, autoimmune disorders, mental disorders);
- disturbances in the hemostasis system - problems with coagulation;
- for any infectious disease in the chronic or acute stage.
Also, the plasma facial correction procedure is not performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menstruation.
Stages of facial plasmolifting
Before injections, it is advisable to do blood tests and consult with an experienced cosmetologist and therapist. If there are no contraindications to the procedure, then 20 ml of blood from a vein is donated. It is sent to a centrifuge to separate it into components. The settled platelets are injected subcutaneously with a syringe into areas requiring correction - nasolabial folds, areas around the mouth, eyes, wrinkles on the forehead, near the ears.
Post-procedure care comes down to treating the skin with products with antiseptic, moisturizing and softening properties. Sometimes after plasmolifting, small pinpoint bruises remain on the skin, which resolve within a few days.
Plasmolifting cannot be called a procedure that gives an immediate effect. In order for the effect of the injected plasma to produce visible changes, it is necessary to undergo a course of several procedures. The breaks between rejuvenation sessions can be from 2 to 4 weeks - this is how long the skin will need to recover, and it is after a couple of weeks that the effects of the procedure become visible.
Plasmolifting results
If the procedure is carried out correctly and all instructions during the rehabilitation period are followed, you will see the following changes:
- swelling goes away;
- wrinkles in the eye area disappear;
- the skin acquires a healthy shade, a blush appears;
- acne marks, small scars become less noticeable;
- skin elasticity increases;
- flaking redness disappears.
The disadvantages of plasmolifting, as noted by cosmetologists are the high price and long rehabilitation period. But it's worth it, as you will be rewarded with prolongation of youth, beauty and health!
