Energoatom - trends of the X Competition

The Executive Directorate for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, Scientific and Technical Support, the Scientific and Technical Center and the Zaporozhye NPP (Zaes, Energodar) won the tenth anniversary competition of scientific reports among young employees of NNEGC "Energoatom", the final of which took place on June 7-8, 2018 at the company’s central office.
In the production area, 10 employees of NNEGC "Energoatom" took part in the competition. Based on the same number of points that the nominees received, the first and second places of the competition committee had to be divided.
Otherwise there were no surprises. The first place quite naturally went to young scientists Pavel Bizyuk from the separate division “Scientific and Technical Center” and Roman Glushenkov from the Executive Directorate for Nuclear Radiation Safety and Scientific and Technical Support.

The second place was taken by girls from the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (Zaes, Energodar) Victoria Gavrilchenko and Tatyana Polyakova, and also not by chance: it is well known that in fact men came to the IT sector thanks to women, and not at all not the other way around. They presented reports “Software for verification of the SDKU-1000 remote force control system” and “Automated system for organizing the filling of a stand for departmental verification of a neutron analyzer of boron solution.”
Third place was taken by the representative of the Khmelnitsky NPP Alexander Byanov with an interesting, but still expensive to implement, augmented reality technology, which he proposes to use in educational processes.

It was a little easier for the commission to decide on the social and trade union direction, because only 6 company representatives competed here. First place in this category was taken by Tatyana Solovitskaya, a young representative of the Zaporozhye NPP, who presented an analytical vision of solving the problem of own housing for young workers.
The second and third places were taken by Elena Tverdokhleb from the South Ukrainian NPP with proposals to compensate part of the cost of renting housing in order to retain young workers in the industry, and Tatyana Fedorova from the Rivne NPP, who analyzed the possibilities of corporate Ukrainian media in ensuring the development of a safety culture.
