Trout on the grill - how to cook

Trout is not only healthy, but also very tasty fish, which, due to its fat content and richness in proteins, vitamins and iodine, is an excellent substitute for meat. As a rule, it is eaten during fasting and even during a diet. That is why we bring to your attention a fairly simple but original recipe for stuffed and baked trout on the grill.
How to cook trout on the grill?
Ingredients needed:
- 2 trout weighing 0.7 kg;
- 60 g red onion;
- 50 g walnuts;
- 25 g raisins;
- 25 g cilantro;
- 5 g. khmeli-suneli;
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- ½ tsp. salt
Trout clean both outside and inside. Rinse thoroughly under running water and dry with paper towels. You don’t have to cut off the fish’s head and fins; let them remain for beauty.
Place nuts, onions, raisins, salt, cilantro and suneli hops into a blender bowl. Season with soy sauce, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and blend into a paste. Please note that it is not recommended to change or remove the components of the paste, since their combination gives the filling an original taste, with a slight nutty-mushroom note.
Make several deep cuts on the trout skin and stuff them with nut paste. Place the remaining paste into the belly and compact it. Secure the edges of the abdomen with toothpicks. Repeat the same procedure with the second fish.
In a cup, combine and mix a little olive oil with soy sauce.
Brush both stuffed trout with the oil mixture, place on the grill and fry for 10-15 minutes on each side. Please note that it is recommended to fry at high heat until well browned.
Place the finished trout on the grill on a dish, divide into portions, garnish with cilantro leaves and lemon slices, serve.
Now you can try trout cooked on the grill! Bon appetit!
